Helical inserts are coiled wire thread reinforcement components manufactured according to the DIN 8140 standard. They are commonly used to repair damaged internal threads or enhance thread strength. Once installed, the insert forms a new internal thread surface, preventing loosening or stripping, and improving the overall reliability of the assembled product.
