Nylon Insert Lock Nut (DIN 985)

The Nylon Insert Lock Nut (also known as Nyloc Nut) is a hex nut with a nylon ring insert.
When tightened onto a bolt, the nylon ring deforms slightly and grips the threads, creating strong frictional resistance. This prevents the nut from loosening due to vibration or long-term use.
It is widely used in industrial machinery, automotive, aerospace, and construction applications where reliable locking is required.
