Flange Nut (DIN 6923)

The Flange Nut (DIN 6923) is a hex nut with a built-in flange at its base. The flange increases the bearing surface, reduces stress concentration, and provides anti-loosening and fastening effects. It is widely used in automotive, machinery, construction, and electronic equipment. Common materials include zinc-plated carbon steel and stainless steels SUS304 / SUS316, available in both Metric and UNC/UNF thread standards.

Features

  • Standard: Manufactured according to DIN 6923 / ISO 4161, complete specifications with high interchangeability.

  • Anti-loosening: The serrated flange surface increases friction to resist loosening under vibration.

  • Material options: Available in zinc-plated carbon steel, stainless steel SUS304 (A2-70), and stainless steel SUS316 (A4-70).

  • Thread types: Metric and UNC/UNF inch threads to meet global equipment requirements.

  • Durability: Suitable for outdoor, humid, chemical, or high-temperature environments, ensuring reliable long-term performance.

Applications

  • Automation equipment and industrial machinery

  • Automotive parts and chassis components

  • Semiconductor and medical equipment (recommended SUS304 / SUS316)

  • Structural assemblies and metal frameworks

  • Wind power systems and outdoor installations

Material Options

  • Carbon Steel: Zinc-plated finish, cost-effective, suitable for general industrial machinery.

  • Stainless Steel SUS304 (A2-70): Corrosion resistant, suitable for outdoor and general anti-rust applications.

  • Stainless Steel SUS316 (A4-70): Superior resistance to acids, alkalis, and marine environments; ideal for offshore, chemical, and high-demand industries.
