The 5000 Series External Circlips are American-standard shaft retaining rings designed to fit into external grooves on shafts. These clips prevent axial movement of components such as bearings, washers, or mechanical parts. Featuring a double-hole design, they can be easily installed or removed using circlip pliers, making them ideal for use in European machinery and power transmission systems.

Compared with DIN (European) and JIS (Japanese) standards, the 5000 Series is available in inch sizes, making it suitable for American equipment and custom-size applications.
